Concord, NH - NHGOP Chairman Stephen Stepanek released the following statement regarding the New Hampshire Democrat silence on Virginia Governor, and Democrat, Ralph Northam:

"We’ve given our New Hampshire Democrat Federal Delegation every opportunity to comment on Virginia Democrat Ralph Northam. Do they agree with other Democrats from across the country who have called on him to resign? This is a national issue with all Democrat presidential candidates calling on him to step down, including New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand while campaigning in FITN New Hampshire this past weekend. Governor Northam called for the murder of born children and it was revealed that racist photographs were in his 1984 medical school yearbook, all in a three-day period."

"The calls for resignation should have been swift after his pro-murder comments, but the New Hampshire Democrat silence since so many in their party have called for his resignation speaks volumes. The people of New Hampshire deserve to know whether or not Senator Shaheen, Senator Hassan, Congresswoman Kuster, and Congressman Pappas believe their fellow Democrat Ralph Northam should remain as Virginia’s Governor."
