Concord, NH - NHGOP Chairman Stephen Stepanek released the following statement regarding continued silence by New Hampshire Democrat Leadership:

"Our Federal delegation, unsurprisingly, continues to disappoint us. While multiple national scandals engulf their Democrat colleagues in Virginia and in the U.S. Congress, Senator Shaheen, Senator Hassan, Congresswoman Kuster, and Congressman Pappas continue to be silent on a slew of issues. With controversies such as Ralph Northam's racist past and his call for the murder of children born alive, Justin Fairfax's multiple alleged and corroborated sexual assaults, and Congresswoman Ilhan Omar’s anti-Semitic and divisive rhetoric, New Hampshire Democrats can't be bothered to take a stand that many others in their party have already taken.”

“This is a complete absence of leadership that seems to be the norm and expectation from New Hampshire Democrats. We saw last month when Republican leadership swiftly acted with integrity by removing Congressman Steve King from his committee assignments, yet no New Hampshire Democrat is calling for Congresswoman Omar to be removed from the House Foreign Affairs committee. Our Federal delegation has always been quick to condemn Republicans for far less, and yet they say nothing about their fellow Democrats. Is that because they approve of their behavior and comments? Their silence speaks volumes and is an endorsement, at this point, of their fellow Democrats' actions."
