Another Democrat Income Tax

Concord, NH - Today, Democrats on the House Finance Committee voted to pass another Income Tax bill. The NHGOP released the following statement:

“New Hampshire Democrats are relentless in their pursuit of a New Hampshire Income Tax. They have yet again put forward a piece of legislation so flawed that it creates an Income Tax on all New Hampshire employees and allows an unelected bureaucrat to curb benefits of the program without legislative approval. Governor Sununu’s superior Family Leave plan works for employers with 20 employees or more, representing vastly more New Hampshire small businesses than the Democrat’s plan that only works for businesses with more than 50 employees. Governor Sununu was right to reject this Feltes Income Tax last session, and will be right to veto this same Income Tax in 2020.”
